Perry Productions, a digital film and video production company, was established in 2013 by Vincent Perry in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Although this is the official start date of his company, Vincent has been making films for over 15 years. Motivated by passion and desire for film, Vincent wanted to create great movies, with great content, but also with good parental ratings.

Vincent graduated from LSU in 2006 studying Film and Media Arts. By this time he completed 4 uncredited indie films  and was working in the news industry. In 2008, Vincent was laid off from NBC due to the decline in the economy nationwide. This sparked him to start his own video production company, working for himself. However, video production was not his passion. Five years later, Vincent jumped back into the Digital Filmmaking industry and hasn't looked back.

Vincent is a writer, director, and producer. In 2016, he produced "Cute With Bad Qualities" (featuring Samantha Smith) and in 2017, launched a children's series "Interaction Station". In 2018, he produced "A Life to Choose" (featuring Erica Michelle, Robert DoQui, Byron Johnson, Myrik Mitchell). Post the Covid-19 Pandemic, he has produced "InnerCity Blues" and "Diminishing Value of Love". Vincent believes that filmmaking is meant to entertain, but has the power to do so much more.

Chrishawnta Austin has had a desire and passion to pursue a dream of working in the TV and Film industry since she was two years old. She admired and loved movies at a young age. She pushed to be in every play, dance and acting opportunity she could get her hands on. Between watching westerns with her grandfather or crime drama series with her mother, she knew that TV and Film would be her calling.

Chrishawnta received her Bachelors of Science from Xavier University. At the university she played “Beneatha” for Raisin in the Sun and was cast as a dancer in the motion picture film “Ray” (featuring Jamie Foxx, Kerry Washington). She pursued her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. While in Florida, she continued to pursue acting and attended the Miami Film School where she was taught the importance of every person’s role on and off set.  She was the production assistant for new student film called “Into Your Hands” and she was a singer and actor in the play “Look What We Did With Love”. She opened her own Physical therapy practice when she moved to Louisiana and decided that she wanted to do more.

Chrishawnta now serves as the COO of Perry Productions where she co-wrote and produced the film “Cute with Bad Qualities” and directed her second film called “A life to Choose”. She is continuing to pursue her career of filmmaking through Perry Productions and encourages anyone with a passion for the industry to follow their dreams.
